Starting The Business
Hello everyone. I wanted to take you with me in a behind the scenes look at starting this business. I started this business as a way to not only have financial freedom but also to allow me to get out of the rut that I found myself in. I have always wanted to open a business and work for myself. Every time I had an idea, I would dismiss it or talk myself out of moving forward. This time was different. I found myself scrolling social media and I kept coming up on videos of people doing this exact thing. And I was hooked. I could watch those videos for hours. And somedays I did just that. Not in one sitting but throughout the whole day I would keep going back to those videos. I kept noticing discrepancies in the videos whether it was the number of items that was given out, or just how the editing was done. It didn’t seem like they were being as open and honest as I would like. I started doing research to see if I could get this idea up and running. Could I do the same thing? What would it look like for my family with limited budget and limited time? What could I do differently that would attract a buyer when there are so many people doing the same thing? It all boiled down to one thing: I could do it and I could do it the only way I knew how. All in and show everything. Now there are some things I didn’t show like a lot of unboxing videos and stocking videos. But for all future restocks I will definitely record more videos. This is going to take some trial and error. It is going to take a lot of hard work. I am so excited to do this though. So come with me on a behind the scenes look of what it takes to start, run and manage a business while being a mom, a wife and working a full time job. This is not going to be easy or quick. But it is going to be worth the ride. Stay tuned for more content and feel free to ask me questions. I would love to answer them for you.
